In 2017 Wim MULLER & Sons were - again - more than outstanding in the national Barcelona race. Due to weather and other conditions, the race was extremely tough, maybe the hardest Barcelona race in the last 30 years.
Wim Muller and Sons, racing Barcelona on a distance of 1134 km, had 6 pigeons in the top 100 national! Without a doubt the best result in The Netherlands.

Pigeons were released in Barcelona on 3 July at 07:40 AM. The distance for the Muller pigeons is 1134.3 km.
Due to extreme temperatures the race was extremely hard, one of the hardest if not the hardest in the last 20 years.
